We're soon going to have yet another Kardashian to keep up with.
Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are expecting their fourth child "soon" via surrogate, the reality star confirmed on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen" Monday night.
"Are you working on another child?" Cohen asked after conducting a poll on possible baby names. Kardashian West replied: "We are."
She even announced the gender of their upcoming bundle of joy – a bouncing baby boy!
Kardashian West confirmed the news, alongside sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, after spilling the beans over the holidays. "I got drunk at our Christmas party and told people and I can’t remember who I told," she said to Cohen.
Kourtney was shocked to hear her sister's public revelation: "What! Obviously I knew that, I couldn’t believe … you were telling everyone." Kardashian West replied, "Well it's out there."
The couple have three children: North, 5, Saint, 3, and Chicago, who turns 1 today.
Kardashian West didn't reveal which name she would bestow on her second son, but the makeup mogul did rule out four candidates from the "WWHL" audience poll: "South," "East," "Calabasas" and "Lil' Kris."
Kardashian West denied pregnancy rumors in August when asked if the couple were planning on having another child.
"I don't know, I don't know, I read that. I read something … none of that was true," she told E! at the time. "But I've been really open about it and talked about it on our show, so … I don't know. We start filming Season 16 next week, so if I think about it more and it's gonna happen, you'll definitely see it on the show. But as of now, no."
Kardashian West has been vocal in the past about her complications with pregnancy, which led the couple to use a surrogate for the birth of their third child.
A doctor strongly advised her not to go through a third pregnancy after she experienced issues with placenta accreta, a painful and potentially life-threatening condition that attaches the placenta deep into the uterine wall, complicating the birthing process.
"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," the couple said in a statement after Chicago was born. "We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give, and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care."
